Markus Trauner, MBA, has an extensive background in information technology and management, beginning with service as an Unteroffizier in the Österreichisches Bundesheer from January 1999 to August 2001. Following military service, Markus held positions at ENGEL AUSTRIA as IT-Helpdesk and IT-Systemtechnik from August 2001 to August 2004, and later served as IT-Leiter (CIO) at Schinko GmbH from August 2007 to September 2009. Markus's career continued to progress with roles at DAW SE, serving as IT-Architekt International from August 2020 to September 2023, and as an International IT Infrastruktur Architekt within the DAW Group IT during the same period. Additionally, Markus was Bereichsleiter for IT-Projektmanagement & IT-Qualitätssicherung and IT Infrastruktur Management. Currently, Markus is employed as Senior IT Manager for Corporate IT Country Management at HARIBO International, a role undertaken since October 2023. Markus is also pursuing studies at FH Burgenland, expected to complete in 2024.
