Tara Laskowski is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in editorial and communications roles. Currently serving as the Director of Digital and Editorial Content at ASCD since 2017, Tara is also a Senior Editor for the magazine Educational Leadership, focusing on content that supports educators. As an author, Tara has published two suspense novels, One Night Gone and The Mother Next Door, since January 2019. Previous experience includes editing and managing SmokeLong Quarterly for nearly a decade, and being a Senior Editor at CASE, where articles related to higher education were written and edited. Tara has also held the position of Director of Communications and Public Relations at GOOD360 and worked as a Senior PR Manager at George Mason University. Tara holds an MFA in Writing (Fiction) from George Mason University and a BA in English from Susquehanna University.
