Mac Porter is a Principal Acoustics & Audio Features Engineer at HARMAN International, focusing on innovative audio concepts from conception to implementation. Previously, as a Senior Acoustics Engineer at HARMAN, Mac developed and tuned automotive audio systems, primarily for the JBL brand in Toyota, and created software tools for acoustics engineers. Before that, Mac worked as an Audio R&D Engineer at Jabra, where they pioneered personalized audio features and developed a low-latency prototyping platform. Mac holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts Technology from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Acoustics from The University of Edinburgh, where they graduated with distinction.
