Omkar Barde

Omkar Barde currently serves as Senior Director & Industrial Practice Head at HARMAN International since March 2023. Previously, Omkar held the position of Director IoT at Birlasoft from January 2018 to June 2023, leading the IoT and IIoT business in North America. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Business Development for KPIT from March 2012 to January 2018, managing key accounts and business strategies across multiple regions, and as Practice Head – Telematics during the same tenure. Earlier, Omkar was the CEO of Nilson Technology from January 2004 to February 2012, focusing on telematics and intelligent transport systems. Omkar Barde holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, completed between 1996 and 1999.
