Paul Dascalu is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as Manager Engineering and Functional Owner at HARMAN International since July 2017, Paul oversees a team of function owners, setting individual targets and providing coaching. Prior roles include Team Lead and Functional Owner for the Hermes project, where Paul coordinated the delivery of key features for the Telematics Control Unit for Daimler vehicles, as well as significant contributions at Luxoft and Virtual Metrix Design SRL, focusing on innovative software solutions and power consumption improvements. Paul holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and a Master's in Project Management from Academia de Studii Economice din București.
