Dr. Sharon Peng is a Senior Vice President of Global Engineering for Lifestyle Consumer Audio at HARMAN. With a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Sharon has over two decades of experience in the technology industry, specializing in audio engineering and product development for notable brands like JBL and Harman Kardon. Previously, Sharon held various leadership positions, including Director of Consumer Engineering at HARMAN and Senior Member of Research Staff at Philips Research. An IEEE Fellow, Sharon also served as President of the IEEE Consumer Technology Society from 2015 to 2018, while actively promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM through mentoring and public speaking.
