Sougata Das

Sougata Das is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Global Head of Architecture for Payment Systems at HARMAN International since September 2022. In this role, Sougata oversees the payment platform for vehicle transactions, focusing on product requirements, design leadership, technology decisions, team advisement, and performance enhancement. Prior to HARMAN, Sougata held the position of VP, Digital Architecture at JPMorgan Chase & Co., leading the digital architecture for Chase.com and Chase Mobile. Additional experience includes a Technical Manager role at GalaxE.Solutions, where responsibilities involved digital transformation for a Fortune 5 healthcare client, and serving as a Senior Architect at STA Group, specializing in enterprise architecture for a Fortune 50 insurance client. Earlier career experience includes an Application Architect role at NORC at the University of Chicago. Sougata holds an MBA in Leadership, Strategy, and Innovation from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology.
