This platform was built in response to the corporatization of the music industry, where artists are discovered via algorithms and invested in based on shallow metrics, and once-beloved music publications are shuttered or acquired, leaving the journalists who inspire music discovery without a way to earn for their recommendations.

As the name implies, we believe that a healthy independent music scene is brought about by harmony between artists and music fans working together to share great music.
