Patrick Quattlebaum

CEO & Co-Founder at Harmonic Design

Patrick Quattlebaum has had a diverse work experience in the field of design and service. Patrick is currently the CEO and co-founder of Harmonic Design, a service design firm based in Atlanta, GA. Patrick is also an author and guide at studioPQ. Prior to this, they worked as an author at Rosenfeld Media.

Before their current roles, Patrick founded and served as the principal designer at studioPQ, starting in 2016. Patrick also held significant positions at Capital One, where they served as the Head of Service Design and Sr. Director of Design from 2014 to 2017, and at Adaptive Path, where they were the Managing Director from 2012 to 2017.

Patrick's previous experiences include working as the Chief Experience Officer at Macquarium, where they managed a team and consulted Fortune 500 companies on experience strategies. Before that, they undertook various roles at Macquarium, including Vice President of User Experience and Director of User Experience. Patrick also worked as a solution architect, user experience designer, and user experience lead during their time at Macquarium.

Patrick began their career as a Lead Information Architect at Patavisions Design, Inc. and later worked as a self-employed user experience designer, working with clients such as Pearson Learning Group, IBM, and Macquarium Intelligent Communications. Patrick also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Patrick Quattlebaum has a Master of Science degree in Information, Design & Technology, which they obtained from the Georgia Institute of Technology between the years 2000 and 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of South Carolina from 1989 to 1993.
