Rayees Rahman

Co-founder, CEO at Harmonic Discovery

Rayees R. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Starting in 2014, Rayees worked as a Winter Computational Biology Intern at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In 2015, they became a Bioinformatics Programmer at the Drug Toxicity Signature Generation Center (DtoxS) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Rayees then went on to become a Research Fellow at the Systems Biology Center of New York at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2015.

In 2016, they took on the role of Scientist in Residence Fellow at The New York Academy of Sciences and also became a Graduate Researcher at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where they later became the Leader of Sinai Data Science and a Teaching Assistant.

In 2018, Rayees worked as a Computational Chemistry Intern at Denali Therapeutics.

Continuing their career in drug discovery, they became a Drug Discovery Scientist at mytide Therapeutics in 2021.

Currently, Rayees serves as the Co-founder and CEO of Harmonic Discovery, a position they have held since May 2021.

From 2016 to 2019, Rayees R. pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computational Chemistry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
