Edward M. is currently the Director of Security & TechOps at Harmonic Security, following an extensive career in senior security roles at prominent organizations such as Spotify, Improbable, Freetrade, John Lewis Partnership, and McArthurGlen. Edward previously served as a Senior Security Engineer at Freetrade, where they built Security Operations and Engineering functions, and as Security Operations Manager at McArthurGlen, focusing on Cyber Security Operations and framework development. Edward also gained experience in various capacities, including Interim Head of Information and Cyber Security and Cyber Security Specialist at GSMA, overseeing Cyber Threat Intelligence initiatives. Edward holds a Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the University of St Andrews and various qualifications in IT and telecoms. Outside of work, Edward enjoys watching rugby, doing CrossFit, and building open source security tools.
