David Whitehead

David Whitehead is a seasoned professional in sales engineering and solutions architecture with extensive experience in the telecommunications and digital video sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Sales Engineering and Solution Architecture for Harmonic EMEA since February 2009, David leads teams focused on Digital Video, Cable Edge, Production and Playout, and Multiscreen Convergence solutions. Prior to this role, David held various leadership positions, including Director of Engineering at Motorola, where responsibilities encompassed Pre-Sales Engineering and Solutions Architecture for cable and telco infrastructure. David's career also includes pivotal roles in establishing engineering teams and distribution networks at RiverDelta Networks, and contributions to new business development within 3Com and Motorola Multimedia Group. David holds a 1st degree in Electrical Engineering from Leeds Beckett University, earned in 1990.
