Gidon Maister

Gidon Maister is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in field application engineering and technical support, currently serving as a Senior Staff Field Application Engineer at Harmonic since May 2018, where Gidon built and manages a multi-country team of seven senior field application engineers. Prior to this role, Gidon held various positions at HydroPro from May 2015 to May 2018, including CEO and Founder, fostering relationships with vendors and establishing long-term connections with major market players. Between May 2007 and December 2014, Gidon worked at MRV Communications as a Senior Sales Engineer, focusing on business development and project management across several European countries. Earlier career experience includes technical support roles at D-Link and 013 Netvision beginning in January 2002. Gidon holds certifications in Carrier Ethernet and Junos MPLS and VPNs, along with a diploma in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Officers Acco College.
