Lior Assouline is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software and hardware development, particularly in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Harmonic since October 2008, Lior focuses on the Upstream Card software within the CCAP platform. Previously, as Chief System Architect for the Direct To Edge product, Lior managed the entire development cycle, from requirements gathering through to deployment. Co-founding Libra Networks in May 2007 and serving as CTO, Lior oversaw the development of an IPTV access solution for cable MSOs. Lior also contributed as a CTO team member at Bigband Networks, leading algorithm design and market trend analysis. With an educational background from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Lior holds an MBA and degrees in Signal Processing and Electrical Engineering.
