Robert Barash

Robert Barash is an experienced professional in the engineering and technical support fields, currently serving as the Director of Field Engineering - Americas at Harmonic since October 2010, managing a team of 12 individuals responsible for various aspects of project management and customer support across North, Central, and South America. Prior to this role, Robert held positions at Omneon, Inc. where responsibilities included technical activities surrounding system design and product demonstrations, and Vela, where Robert managed corporate sales and key client accounts. Earlier career experience includes a role at Nielsen Media Research as a Senior Analyst, focusing on client/server applications supporting television ratings. Robert holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from ITT Technical Institute-Tampa and a MS Windows Programming Certification with knowledge in C++, Java, and Visual Basic from St. Petersburg College.
