Thomas McCarthy

Thomas McCarthy serves as the Video Business Development Director for LATAM at Harmonic, leading efforts in new video business and SaaS opportunities since June 2025. Prior to this role, McCarthy was the Sr. Sales Director at Bitmovin from February 2018 to June 2025, where responsibilities included managing sales activities and market development in the USA and Latin America for various software solutions, and developing strategic partnerships with prominent clients such as Televisa and HBO Latin America. Additionally, McCarthy held a position as Sr. Sales Manager at AWS Elemental from June 2020 to February 2022, focusing on new market verticals for Edge Services. Earlier experience includes serving as Sales Manager for LATAM at Oracle from January 2015 to January 2017, driving market development for video processing platforms. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with a Marketing emphasis from San Diego State University and a certification in International Business from UC San Diego.
