Tony Short has extensive experience in sales and channel management, currently serving as Vice President of Regional Sales & Channel Management for North America at Harmonic since September 2010. Previously, Tony held positions such as Director and Senior Manager of Regional Sales at Harmonic, overseeing sales teams and channel partners across various sectors, including broadcast, government, and education. Prior to joining Harmonic, Tony was a Regional Sales Manager at Omneon, Inc., responsible for sales across eight states and Washington D.C. Tony's career began at Sony Electronics Professional Solutions of America, where a variety of roles were undertaken from Account Manager to Regional Manager over a span of 17 years. Tony's foundational work in the field began in the U.S. Navy as an Electronic Warfare Technician.
