Chris Mathwin is an AI x Cybersecurity Research Engineer currently working as a Founding Research Engineer at Harmony Intelligence, an AI cybersecurity startup. Chris is also a research assistant and academic tutor at the University of Melbourne while pursuing a PhD focused on structural robustness design of mid-rise cold formed steel buildings. Previously, Chris served as a graduate structural engineer at Beca, specializing in the design and assessment of civil structures, and held an internship at AECOM. Chris has participated in machine learning research roles at AI Safety Camp and AI Safety Mentors and Mentees, applying interpretability techniques in collaboration with other researchers.
