Sunny Buchnick

Sunny Buchnick has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and software engineering. They currently work at Harmonya as the Data Engineering Team Lead, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Harmonya as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2021 to January 2022. Before joining Harmonya, Sunny worked at Salesforce as a Lead Software Engineer, where they were employed from December 2018 to June 2021.

Earlier in their career, Sunny worked at the Israel Defence Force in various roles. They served as a Big Data R&D Team Leader from December 2016 to December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for researching and implementing new big data technologies, such as Apache NiFi and Apache Spark. They also supported analysts' queries over Hadoop using Apache Impala.

Prior to this, Sunny worked as a Software Development Team Leader from December 2015 to December 2016, managing a team of 10 software developers and 2 QA engineers. They were responsible for developing and maintaining solutions in an SOA environment at an enterprise level. Before that, Sunny worked as a Performance Testing Team Leader from January 2015 to November 2015.

Sunny's career began at the Israel Defence Forces as an Oracle DBA from May 2012 to July 2014. They gained experience in Oracle database versions 10g and 11g and actively participated in the development process of R&D teams. They also assisted analysts in exploring and extracting insights from the data through their expertise in performance tuning, Oracle Spatial, SQL tuning, and more.

Sunny Buchnick attended The College Of Management from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2012, Sunny studied Computer Programming at Mamram.
