Robin Elliott

Robin Elliott has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. They began their career at EXE Technologies in 1991, where they worked as a Field Consultant, R&D Team Lead, and Customer Support Manager, implementing enterprise supply chain solutions and leading a team in developing next-generation solutions. In 1999, they joined SilverStream Software as a Senior Sales Software Consultant, specializing in the exteNd platform for simplifying business solution development and deployment.

In 2003, Elliott worked as the Director of Technology at Akuratus Corporation, a small educational software start-up, where they played multiple roles involving product management, R&D, marketing, and sales. They provided technical direction, assisted in architectural design, and supported sales activities. They then moved on to Infor in 2006 as an Integrations Technology Architect, overseeing product integrations and implementing Infor's SOA strategy using Progress Software's products.

At BMC Software, starting in 2008, Elliott worked as a Principal Software Consultant, primarily focusing on Data Center Automation and Cloud Life Cycle Management. They participated in various aspects of software consultancy, including discovery calls, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and customer assistance. Robin Elliott attended Teesside University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Information Technology. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1987, Robin attended Thanet Technical College and obtained a National Diploma (BTEC) in Business and Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Robin has also obtained several certifications. They received the certification of FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner from The Linux Foundation in October 2022. In September 2020, they received the certification of LFS158x: Introduction to Kubernetes from edX. Robin also holds the certification of Software Delivery Foundations Associate from Harness, obtained in September 2022.
