Sunil Gupta

Sunil Gupta has a strong background in software engineering and management. Sunil is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at Harness since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Engineering Manager at Harness from January 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Harness, Sunil worked at Sabre India as the Senior Software Development Manager from November 2017 to January 2021. Sunil was responsible for managing software development projects.

Their experience at Cisco Systems spanned from August 2010 to November 2017, where they held various roles. As the Senior Engineering Manager, they led software development teams and was involved in defining product requirements, solution design, and code development for set-top boxes. Sunil also served as an Engineering Manager and Team Leader during their time at Cisco Systems.

Sunil began their career at Samsung R&D Institute India in July 2004. Sunil held multiple roles during their tenure, including Lead Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Sunil played a key role in developing applications, designing solutions, and mentoring team members.

Sunil Gupta completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 2000 to 2004. Later, in 2010, they pursued a Certificate Program in Management of Software Development from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, with a focus on Software Project Management. Additionally, Sunil has obtained several certifications including Front-End JavaScript Frameworks: AngularJS and Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2016, along with CSPO certification from Scrum Alliance in March 2016 and CSM certification in October 2014.
