Lewis Chong

Lewis Chong is a seasoned consultant and partner at Harneys, with a career spanning over a decade in notable legal matters, including advising leading hedge fund managers on offshore fund interests and restructures. Prior experience includes serving as counsel at O'Melveny & Myers LLP, where significant achievements involved establishing a European distressed debt fund and facilitating a private equity team's acquisition from a distressed bank. Previously, as an associate at SJ Berwin, Lewis contributed to the establishment of a mezzanine finance fund and a mid-market buyout fund. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Victoria University of Wellington.
