Matthew Howson

Matthew Howson is a Counsel at Harneys, specializing in BVI and Cayman trust law as well as private client and estate planning matters. They have extensive experience working with individuals, families, and institutional clients, focusing on complex trust structures and the administration of BVI estates. Matthew is also a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and engages in public speaking on succession planning while contributing to several industry publications. Prior to Harneys, they held positions at Penningtons Manches and Manches LLP, where they undertook various roles in private client and trust law. Matthew's educational background includes a Diploma in Trusts and Estates from STEP, alongside several law degrees with distinctions from renowned institutions.
