Peter Eckes

Dr. Peter Eckes is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the agricultural and chemical sectors. Currently, they serve as a Senior Advisor at SVG Ventures | THRIVE and a member of the Advisory Group for Planetary Health at Novo Holdings. Previously, they held multiple leadership roles at BASF, including President of R&D and Regulatory for Agricultural Solutions, where they led Crop Protection and Seed R&D initiatives. Dr. Eckes also has experience as an Operational Partner at Astanor Ventures and Chairperson of the Board at Harpe Bio. They earned a degree in Bioorganic Chemistry from Harvard University.
