Anna Derkacz

Anna Derkacz has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry, with a focus on sales and management roles. Anna began their career in 2004 as a Buying Assistant at John Lewis, where they worked in the Fashion department. Anna then moved on to Asda and served as a Books Buying Assistant and later as a Children's Book Buyer. In 2008, Anna joined Random House as a Key Account Manager. Anna then joined Penguin Group UK in 2010 as a Sales Manager. In 2013, they became the Head of Sales for Penguin (Adult), a role they held until 2014. Anna then joined Penguin Random House UK in 2015 as the Head of Sales for the US and Canada market. Anna'smost recent position was with HarperCollins Publishers, where they served as the UK Sales Director, and later as the Group Sales Director from 2018.

Anna Derkacz attended Woodford County High School from 1994 to 2001. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Art at the University of Leeds from 2001 to 2004, achieving a 2:1 classification in their degree.
