Ellen Oh

Ellen Oh is an accomplished author and editor with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as an author at Penguin Random House since January 2016, Ellen has edited works such as FLYING LESSONS and ON THE BLOCK, and authored the YA novel COLLIDING WORLDS OF MINA LEE. Ellen has also been an MG and YA author at HarperCollins Publishers since 2011. As the CEO and Founding Member of We Need Diverse Books from July 2014 to August 2024, Ellen has played a pivotal role in advocating for diverse literature. Additionally, Ellen served as an Adjunct Faculty member at George Mason University from January 2006 to 2012, and held various legal and programming positions at the National Wildlife Federation and National Wildlife Productions from 1998 to 2005. Ellen Oh holds a JD in Law from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Political Science from New York University.
