Jonathan Burnham

Jonathan Burnham is President and Publisher of the Harper Division at HarperCollins, overseeing imprints which include Harper, Harper Paperbacks, Harper Perennial, Harper Business, Harper Design, Harper Wave, Broadside Books, Amistad, and Ecco. He joined the company in 2005 as Senior Vice President and Publisher of Harper.

Burnham has more than 30 years of experience in publishing. Prior to joining HarperCollins, he was the President and Editor-in-Chief of Miramax Books. He had previously served as Senior Editor at Viking Penguin U.S., after spending five years as Publishing Director of Chatto & Windus, an imprint of Random House U.K.

A London native, Burnham graduated from Oxford University. He is currently on the board of Senior Conservators at the New York Public Library, and is a faculty member at New York University.
