Mark O'Connell is a seasoned writer and co-executive producer at Anomaly Entertainment since November 2019, with a distinguished background in screenwriting, including produced credits for iconic series such as Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. O'Connell has been an adjunct screenwriting instructor at DePaul University since January 2016, teaching various TV writing courses to undergraduate and MFA students. As an accomplished author, O'Connell published "The Close Encounters Man: How One Man Made the World Believe in UFOs" in June 2017 through HarperCollins. O'Connell's previous experience includes serving as Technical Coordinator for the Wisconsin Clean Transportation Program, where responsibilities included managing a significant grant for alternative fuel projects, and as an editor for Cygnus Business Media.
