Roberto Rivas

Roberto Rivas has had extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Roberto began their career as the Director of New Projects at Distribuidora Intermex from 1989 to 1998. Roberto then worked as the Exports Director at Editorial Oceano from 1999 to 2006, where they opened markets in Central America and the United States. Following this, they joined Thomas Nelson Publishers as the Sales Director for Latin America and Spain from 2006 to 2012. In 2011, they became the General Director at Thomas Nelson Mexico before transitioning to become the Sales Director HarperCollins Español Latin America at HarperCollins Publishers in 2013. Later, they were promoted to General Director of HarperCollins Mexico. Roberto held these positions until at least 2015.

Roberto Rivas obtained a Licenciatura degree in Business Administration from Universidad Panamericana, where they studied from 1983 to 1986. Prior to this, they attended Instituto Ovalle Monday, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
