Dono Greeff

Dono Greeff has a comprehensive work experience in the field of Quality Assurance (QA) and software delivery.

Dono is currently working at Harri as the Director of QA since January 2023.

Prior to their current role, Dono worked at GAN from 2020 to 2023, where they held the positions of Director of QA and Release Management and Head of QA. In these roles, they focused on transforming and improving the efficiency of software delivery through implementing a Shift left/ATDD approach to software development.

Before GAN, Dono was employed at Gelato as the Head of Software Delivery from 2019 to 2020. Dono started off as the Head of QA but took on additional responsibilities to build a world-class engineering team and improve engineering processes.

From 2018 to 2019, Dono worked at ClearBank as the Head of QA, where they were responsible for rebuilding the QA team and function. Dono successfully implemented a shift left attitude, expanded automation coverage, and reduced the software delivery time.

Prior to ClearBank, Dono served as the Head of QA at Earthport from 2017 to 2018. During their tenure, they focused on transforming the QA function into a driving force within the development lifecycle by implementing a shift left model and an automation-first strategy.

At Currency Cloud, Dono held the positions of Head of QA from 2016 to 2017 and Senior QA Engineer from 2016 to 2016. Dono was responsible for reshaping the QA function, defining strategies, and implementing solutions for bad practices.

Before Currency Cloud, Dono worked at Global Personals as a QA Engineer from 2015 to 2016. Dono played a key role in improving the automation suite, reducing run times, and improving stability. Dono also mentored the QA team and implemented continuous integration tooling.

Dono's earlier work experience includes roles at PhotoBox as a QA Engineer/Test Automation from 2013 to 2015, MICROS Systems Inc as a QA Engineer from 2011 to 2013, and MICROS Systems UK Limited as a Helpdesk Analyst from 2009 to 2011.

Dono Greeff attended Fish Hoek Middle School and Sun Valley Primary from 1995 to 1998. Dono then enrolled at Fish Hoek High School from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a National Diploma in English, Afrikaans, Math, Science, Electrical, Accounting. During their time at Fish Hoek High School, they focused on Electrical and Electronics Engineering, leading to the completion of another National Diploma in the same field. Additionally, in April 2009, they obtained a certification called ISEB, the details of which are not provided.
