Rula Odeh

Rula Odeh has a diverse range of work experience across various organizations.

Rula currently works at Global Shapers Community as an Impact Officer, where they are responsible for delivering high-quality projects and tracking the progress of the Ramallah hub. Rula also contributes to building hub infrastructure, networks, systems, and platforms that Shapers use to further their impact. Additionally, Rula strengthens individual and hub capabilities through coaching, strategic advice, and training, and enhances the impact and vision of the hub by discussing impact vision, project design, planning, impact measurement, beneficiary engagement, and equity lenses for hub project design.

Prior to their current role, Rula worked as a Recruiter at Global Shapers Community, specifically focusing on recruiting new members.

Rula also has experience as a Global Shaper at Global Shapers Community, where they worked with a network of inspiring young people to address local, regional, and global challenges. In this role, they self-organized teams to create projects that addressed the needs of their community.

At Harri, Rula worked as a Product Manager, and at the Hult Prize Foundation, they held multiple roles. These included being a Global Finalist (UN) and (UK), a Founders Circle member, a Ramallah Regional Winner, a 1st Place winner on campus, a Campus Director Assistant, and a National Finalist.

Rula also served as a Project Coordinator at the Business Alliance for Services and Investment (BA), where they managed, administered, coordinated, and reported on a project with an international non-profit organization. Rula also worked on a UI/UX project with Ubex Studios and was involved in website development, content, and social media marketing for Jolnacer, a Business Alliance division.

Additionally, Rula has experience as a Brand Ambassador, Coordinator, Ambassador, and Chairwoman at IEEE, a global professional organization in the field of technology and engineering. Rula also served as an Ambassador at TEDxBZU and as a Marketing Communications Coordinator at TEDxAlQudsUniversity. Furthermore, they held the role of Social Media Coordinator at TEDxAl-ManaraSquare.

Rula is also an entrepreneur, having co-founded CarEngy, which focuses on renewable energy, and CleanEcare, which has developed an innovative fabric structure that uses electricity to kill bacteria, particularly in medical attire.

Rula Odeh pursued their education in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. From 2015 to 2020, they attended Al-Quds University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. In 2017-2018, Rula also studied at Universidad de Jaén, earning another Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including the GIC iX Innovation Execution Program from Stanford Center for Professional Development in December 2020, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco in July 2019, Introduction to cyber security from Cisco in February 2017, First Aid from Palestine Red Crescent Society & Hospital - Albireh Branch in January 2017, and IT Essentials - Cisco from Cisco in April 2016.
