Chris Williamson

Chris Williamson has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry, with expertise in infrastructure management and server administration. Chris currently works as a Lead Systems Engineer at Harris Computer, where they oversee support for Microsoft and VMWare infrastructure in both on-premise and AWS cloud data centers. Prior to this, they worked as a Contract Systems Engineer at WellStar Health System, collaborating with project teams to optimize their infrastructure. Chris also has experience at IBM, where they served as the Wintel Team Focal for the Coca-Cola account, providing support and training for the server team. Chris started their career at Ingersoll Rand, where they were a Server Administrator responsible for managing a large Wintel environment and executing server migrations. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated strong skills in monitoring and performance optimization, disaster recovery methodologies, and vendor relationship management.

Chris Williamson obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Southeastern Technical College from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they also earned an Associate's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology/Technician from the same college from 2000 to 2002. Chris also has certifications in VCAP6-DCV from VMware in 2017, Nimble Technical Professional from Nimble Storage in 2016, VCA6-CMA from VMware in 2016, and VCP5-DCV from VMware in 2015.
