Todd Thompson has over 35 years of experience in public safety and technology, blending law enforcement expertise with private sector innovation. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Strategic Development at Harris Computer’s Frontline Public Safety group, Todd leads the Innovation Lab, focusing on emerging technologies like cloud computing and AI to enhance public safety solutions. Todd began their career as a deputy sheriff in McLean County, Illinois, before transitioning into various roles such as project manager and business analyst. They have played pivotal roles in launching significant public safety platforms and serve on the IJIS CJIS Advisory Committee, co-chairing working groups focused on standards development. Todd holds a degree in Criminal Justice Sciences and demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing secure and effective solutions in public safety.
