Bill Smith has over 24 years of experience in brand name development. Bill began their career in 1985 as the Founder and CEO of Chase Adams, an Executive Search Firm dedicated to working with world class clients in Information Technology and Biotechnology. In 1999, they became the General Partner of VentureWorx, LLP, a Venture Capital Fund investing in promising entrepreneurs focusing on technology innovation. In 1991, they founded and became the CEO of Addison Whitney, a brand name development firm that has secured over 800 clients in 27 countries. In 2002, they became the Chairman and Founder of Harrison Hayes, a company that manages a family of Venture Funds and offers consulting services. Finally, in 2013, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Brand Acumen, the world leader in brand name development.
Bill Smith received a B.A. in Music from Berklee College of Music and an M.A. in Music from Colorado State University. In 2010, they attended the Internationales Musikinstitut Darmstadt to study Contemporary New Music. In 2012, they attended Harvard University's Harvard Music Department, Summer Composition Colloquia to study Music Composition.
