Matthew Korman

Matthew Korman has extensive experience in the real estate and hospitality industries, currently serving as Acquisitions Assistant Vice President at Harrison Street since July 2018, with previous roles as Acquisitions Senior Associate, Acquisitions Associate, and Acquisitions Analyst. Prior to this, Matthew interned in Acquisitions and Asset Management at Harrison Street Real Estate Capital LLC in 2017. Earlier, valuable skills were developed during an internship at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where Matthew determined room rates and enhanced revenue-generating systems, and at Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, coordinating food preparation for large-scale service. Matthew's foundational experience includes time as a Line Cook at Restaurant Michael, where adaptability and direction-following were key in meal preparation for private events. Matthew holds a degree from the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, completed in 2018.
