David Orr

David Orr has extensive experience in various roles within the software engineering and project management fields. David currently works at Hart InterCivic as a Principle Security Engineer, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2014 to January 2020, and as a Project Manager from April 2011 to May 2014 for the same company.

Before joining Hart InterCivic, David worked at Overwatch Systems Tactical Operations as a Principal Software Engineer from 2009 to 2010, and as a Senior Software System Project Engineer from 2004 to 2009. In this latter role, they led engineering teams, managed program schedules, and analyzed project metrics.

David also worked at Overwatch Systems Tactical Operations (formerly Austin Info Systems) from 2001 to 2004 as a Senior Software Developer. During this time, they led development teams, supported product test cycles, and provided on-site customer support.

Prior to that, David worked at FundsXpress Financial Network from 2000 to 2001 as a Senior Technical Analyst, where they managed teams responsible for developing and maintaining a web-based end-user management system for financial institutions. David also worked as a Software Developer at FundsXpress from 1998 to 2000, where they implemented new features in the company's customer management system.
