Harther is a UK proptech company building two linked products for the private rental market: Harthing for landlords and Letterlea for tenants.
Harthing is a compliance and property management platform designed for self-managing landlords — the 1.3 million people in England who look after one to five properties without a letting agent. It brings maintenance records, financial transactions, compliance documents, and communication into a single system, with every action timestamped to create an immutable, court-ready Accountability Record.
Letterlea is the tenant-facing companion app, built on the same shared database. When both sides contribute to the same record, the evidence trail works from both perspectives — not as a bolt-on sync, but as a single architecture designed from the ground up.
We're building for the regulatory reality of 2026: Making Tax Digital enforcement, the Renters' Rights Act, Awaab's Law timelines, and Section 21 abolition. These changes affect every private landlord in England. Harthing helps them meet those obligations and prove they did.
