David Balcom

David Balcom was named Senior Vice President, Operations at Harvard Bioscience in July 2022. Prior to this role, Balcom worked with Cirtec Medical, a full-service contract design, development, and manufacturing business supporting products across a broad spectrum of Medical Device sectors, where he also served as Senior Vice President of Operations.

Balcom’s career includes 15 years of broad operations work with Boston Scientific, St. Jude Medical, and Abbott. Throughout his career, Balcom has spearheaded the successful development and execution of efficiency and growth strategies across an array of functional responsibilities including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, R&D, program management, facilities, and freight and distribution.
