Katherine A. Eade

Katherine Eade was appointed a Director of the Company on October 24, 2017, and is Chair of the Governance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. Most recently, Ms. Eade served as General Counsel of Checkmate Pharmaceuticals, where among other things, she helped lead the sale of the company to Regeneron Pharmaceuticals at a 336% premium. She has more than 20 years of experience advising public companies on M&A, corporate governance, and capital markets, including a dozen years serving in leadership roles in the life sciences industry. Ms. Eade began her legal career as an attorney at Cleary Gottlieb, a leading international law firm, and served as a law clerk for Judge Morton I. Greenberg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Ms. Eade earned a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in Government, summa cum laude, from Cornell University.
