Ellen Tuttle

Ellen Tuttle is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the media and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Communications Officer at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University since 2007, Tuttle develops and implements communication strategies to promote journalism standards globally. Previously, Tuttle held the role of Media and Public Relations Projects Manager at The Christian Science Monitor, where successful project management led to a doubling of annual media interviews. Other notable positions include Writer/Editor at GBH, Communications Associate at the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, and various roles in production and broadcasting at The Christian Science Monitor. Tuttle holds a Bachelor's degree in German from Bates College and a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University, along with supplemental studies in Munich, Germany.
