Eric Hwang

Eric Hwang is a Software Engineer Intern at Fair Opportunity Project, where contributions include deploying a generative AI chatbot and maintaining a user web portal. As a Software Engineer at HCS Tech for Social Good, Eric developed a full-stack municipal spending visualization app for the City of Boston and worked on a mobile web app tracking discrimination in schools. Eric also serves as an Opinion Writer for The Harvard Crimson, publishing pieces on masking culture and the Asian-American experience. Previous experience includes an internship at the Commission on Presidential Debates, where Eric conducted research on board candidates, and corporate development work at Devsisters, focusing on market research and presentations. Eric's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Government from Harvard University, with a prior high school diploma from Seoul International School.
