John Beardsley is an author, educator, and curator who serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and has directed Garden and Landscape Studies at Dumbarton Oaks from 2008 to 2019. As a curator for the Oberlander Prize with The Cultural Landscape Foundation since 2019, they continue to contribute to the field of landscape studies.
