Sean Doherty is an accomplished leader in health care and venture philanthropy, currently serving as President of T1D Action, which aims to enhance care for individuals living with type one diabetes. In addition to this role, Sean is a Senior Fellow at both the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government and the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University, focusing on systemic healthcare transformation for chronic disease management. As the Founder and Chair of the T1D Fund from 2015 to 2023, Sean was instrumental in catalyzing significant investments in therapies for type one diabetes. Previous experience includes board membership at Provention Bio and IM Therapeutics, and a long tenure at Bain Capital, where Sean established its legal and compliance framework.
