Tracy Strauss

Tracy Strauss is an accomplished educator and writer with extensive experience in teaching and mentoring in the field of writing. Currently serving as a Preceptor of Expository Writing at Harvard University since January 2022, Tracy has previously held positions at the New England Conservatory as a Liberal Arts Faculty member and Professional Writing Tutor, where tenure extended from September 2011 to January 2022. Additional roles include instruction at GrubStreet and Writer's Digest University, where Tracy focused on memoir writing and personal essays. Tracy's editorial experience encompasses positions at The Huffington Post and The Rumpus, where editorial responsibilities included overseeing essays. Tracy also contributed to the Writers' Room of Boston and taught high school and college writing courses at Boston University. Educational credentials include MFAs in Film/Screenwriting from Boston University and in Creative Writing from Lesley University, alongside a B.A. in English from SUNY Geneseo.
