Harvey's Foundry Trust is a charitable organisation based in Hayle, working to promote Hayle's rich history and to turn the nationally important site Harvey's Foundry into a vibrant multi-use centre.

Harvey and Co. of Hayle, Cornwall were the foundry and engineering works responsible for producing the world famous Cornish Beam Engine, which powered local and international mining industries throughout the late-18th and 19th centuries. The foundry also produced two of the three engines that pumped dry the Haarlem Lake. This included the engine stationed at Cruquius which is, to date, the largest steam engine ever built. Harvey's worked with many of the great Cornish engineers, including Richard Trevithick and Arthur Woolf. Their shipbuilding enterprise, the Harvey Steamship Company was equally successful with eighty ocean-going ships constructed at Harvey's shipbuilding yard on Hayle's South Quay.

In order to increase access to the town's rich heritage, The Trust opened Hayle Heritage Centre in 2013, a small museum with an ever-growing social history collection; through permanent displays, temporary exhibitions, and a host of learning and outreach activities, the Heritage Centre tells the story of Hayle and its great industrial past.

The Trust is currently delivering Phase 3 of a 10-year redevelopment programme. Phase 3 will see the conservation and adaptation of two derelict Grade II buildings and a new sympathetically designed extension, creating 18 office units and 83 new jobs in Hayle, one of Cornwall's most deprived towns.
