Crys Moore

Founding Designer at Hashboard

Crys Moore is a founding designer at Glean. Prior to that, they served as a product design manager at Betterment from August 2019 to August 2021. There, they led a workshop on physical computing, teaching fundamentals of electronics, micro controllers, sensors, and human/computer interaction design. Crys also created interactive installations.

Before Betterment, Crys was a product designer at Blackfynn from December 2017 to May 2019. There they focused on UX, IA, user research, visual design, and neuroscience.

From March 2016 to December 2017, Crys was a UX designer at MissionStaff. There they designed IA, UX, and visual elements for self-service and mobile applications. Crys also provided production and marketing support, QA, and conducted user research and competitive studies.

From January 2015 to December 2016, Crys worked as a creative technologist at Jack Morton. In that role, they provided technical and creative consultation for clients including Verizon, Google, Ted, and UPS. Crys also created digital and physical prototypes for those clients.

In addition to their work in industry, Crys has also taught as an adjunct lecturer at the City College of New York from August 2014 to December 2014 and as an adjunct assistant professor at BMCC from August 2013 to December 2015.

Crys Moore has a Masters of Professional Studies from New York University in the field of Interactive Technology. They also have a Bachelor of Arts from Antioch University-Los Angeles in Critical Visual Studies. Lastly, they studied Sculpture / Furniture Design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Crys Moore reports to Carlos Aguilar, Founder & CEO. They work with Dan Eisenberg - VP, Technology, Josh Feintuch - Head of Recruiting.
