Michael Heinrichs

Michael Heinrichs is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various managerial and technical roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager and Principal Software Engineer at Swirlds Labs since May 2022, Michael is also the Founder of Netopyr GmbH. Previous positions include Product Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Karakun AG from May 2018 to April 2022, and a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW in 2020. Michael's career began at Instance Four GmbH & Co. KG and has included significant roles at Canoo Engineering AG, Barclays Capital, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and dukebox.io. Michael holds a Diplom in Computer Science from TU Dortmund University and has a foundation in education from Hildegardisschule and Newport Harbor High.
