Michael Gaffney

Michael Gaffney is an accomplished Principal Engineer at HashiCorp, with a career spanning over two decades in software architecture and engineering. Since joining HashiCorp in March 2019, Michael has contributed to the Boundary team and previously served on the Vault core team. Prior roles include Senior Director of Software Architecture at ZeroFOX, Principal Software Architect at iJET International, and distinguished positions at BlackBerry and Good Technology. Michael's extensive experience also includes significant roles at BoxTone, Blueprint Technologies, Unwired Express, Mantra, and e-centives. Michael holds a BS in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and completed earlier studies at Villanova University.
