Tim Silk

Tim Silk is an experienced leader in solutions engineering with a robust background in technology management within the public sector. Currently serving as the Director of Solutions Engineering at HashiCorp since March 2021, Tim focuses on modernizing and securing IT systems for government and education. Prior to this role, Tim amassed over 20 years at Cisco, holding multiple senior management positions that included leading the systems engineering efforts for data center technologies and federal architectures. Tim's earlier experience includes serving as a Section Manager and Network Engineer at TASC, Inc. Tim holds an Executive Master in Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute, a Master’s degree in Information Systems from George Mason University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
