Chad Reed

Chad Reed is a seasoned professional in strategic initiatives, sustainability, and impact, currently serving as the VP at HASI since 2019, where responsibilities include executive leadership of the HASI Foundation and co-hosting the Climate Positive Podcast. Chad has been a board member and co-founder of Blue Forest Conservation since 2015, and serves on the board of the Maryland Cultural & Conference Center from 2022 to 2024. Prior experience includes director roles in structured finance, capital markets, and sustainability at TerraForm Power, alongside managerial positions in strategic finance at Sungevity and as an instructor at Johns Hopkins SAIS. Educational background includes degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and Johns Hopkins SAIS.
